vBulletin 4.0 is going thru rapid development as I type this (and you read it) and should be available to the public by the end of 2009. This is a major upgrade that will involve complete reworking of any forum templates, modifications, and customizations.
We’re opening our doors early to people who want to upgrade to vBulletin 4, but don’t have the time to cover all the work involved with it. Due to the time it takes to update to vBulletin 4, and the work involved with it, we will only be doing 10 upgrades to start out with. This upgrade service will cover your database and its information and the style. Due to core changes, we won’t be rewriting modifications at the start due to time constraints and possible copyright issues. This offer is only good for those who are using vBulletin 3.5+.
This upgrade service is $145 one time fee and includes:
- A secret test site for you to see your sites conversion in progress.
- Upgrade of your database to vBulletin 4.0.
- Upgrade your default skin to vBulletin 4.0. (if you’re using a commercial skin, it will be faster for you and us, to wait for them to release the upgrade, we’ll add all your customizations back.)
- Your approval of our final upgrade of your forum from vBulletin 3 to vBulletin 4 before we put it live on your site.
- Upgrade of your live site to vBulletin 4.0
